Hi everyone,

We are reaching out on behalf of our amazing dad/grandpa, who continues to fight one of the biggest challenges of his life. Jeff Feix retired from teaching the Surgical Technology program at Vernon College in 2022. He has continued to participate in all the professional associations for Surgical Technologists, as well as working part time as an LVN. In December of 2023, Jeff was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. He’s maintained a good quality of life thanks to the great medical staff in Wichita Falls. But, cancer is cancer, and this time he needs more help than Wichita Falls can provide. Jeff is a husband, father, grandpa, and as of January, a great grandpa. We want him to continue getting the best care possible.

He has recently begun the process to receive treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center, one of the leading cancer treatment centers in the country. While we are incredibly grateful he’s receiving world-class care, this journey comes with significant emotional and financial strain.

Due to the intensity of his treatment and the physical toll this disease is taking on him, he will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. As you can imagine, this adds a layer of stress during an already difficult time. We are humbly asking for your support to help ease this burden.

All donations will go directly toward:

    •    Medical expenses not covered by insurance

    •    Travel to and from MD Anderson

    •    Temporary lodging if needed during treatment

    •    Everyday bills and living expenses while he’s unable to work
