**UPDATE**

Hello everyone! With a heavy heart, Jed, my brother-in-law unfortunately passed away yesterday (Feb. 15, 2023) at 5:30 AM (Philippine Time) at the age of 33. He passed on peacefully in the comfort of his wife and his family at his bedside. God took him Home and all his pain away. He is now in the safe arms of God.

Jed will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He was a wonderful son, grandson, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend anyone could wish for. But above all, he was the best father and husband to his daughter Jehra and his wife Dee. Losing someone close to you is hard enough, but the pain of losing a loved one is unbearable. This is an incredibly difficult time; we may not understand now but God has a great plan. I would also like to remind people to hold your loved ones closer and keep in touch as anything can happen any moment.

On behalf of my sister Dee and our families, thank you for all the continuous love, support, generosity, kindness, and prayers that you have blessed Jed and our family. We appreciate you all and we can’t thank you enough.

The wake will start today (February 16, 2023) at Acropolis Gardens (Brgy. Bata, Bacolod City, Philippines), families and friends can visit by 9:30 AM until the night of February 17, 2023, there will also be a mass every 6 PM.

Help save a Loving Husband and a Father.

Hi everyone, my name is Leah Alvior Sampalucia. I am creating this fundraiser to ask everyone from the kindness of their hearts to help in any way my sister, France Diane "Dee" Herman, whose dear husband, Rommel Jeharard "Jed" Herman, has been fighting for his life since day 1 of his admission on February 2, 2023, at The Doctor's Hospital, Bacolod City, Philippines and is now on life support (intubated) in the ICU due to Pontine Hemorrhage. (The Pons is a part of the brainstem, a structure that links the brain to the spinal cord.)

Jed, my brother-in-law, is such a humble person, an amazing husband, a loving father to his 1-year-old daughter, Jehra, and a good family provider.

Jed has been through many ordeals in the past, including what he experienced 20 years ago. When he was 14 years old, he underwent surgery and several procedures due to Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM is a tangle of blood vessels on, in or near the spinal cord.) Now, he's going over it again. But we believe he is a fighter and will get through this.

He is fighting for his life and we would like to help his family in any way possible. One way we can help is by praying, another is to help ease the financial burdens they may face in the coming days and weeks. Though he has medical insurance and PhilHealth, their family's resources have been stretched too thin.

I am knocking into your hearts, reaching out, and asking for any help to support us in managing his medical bills and medications. No help is ever too small.

We are just in dire need of all the help we can get. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
