Trying to survive this Pandemic has been really hard. The summer months are the hardest for me and my mom since we work for a school district where she is a Health Clerk and we both work  in an after school program. When kids aren't being taught we don't get paid. We thought our stimulus checks would be helpful but we never got them  and I had just got a 2nd  job as a para educator but schools were  shut down before I could even start. I worry more than ever we will not be able to get thru this summer.  Added on we still do not have a car, my mom is still being sued for over 20K in a car accident that was not her fault and left her with an injury. I worry  how we will pay for our bills, rent, food etc.  How school resumes and what exactly our hours will be is still up in the air as of now the positions we have are possibly in jeopardy.  When school does resume  in whatever form  in mid August we do not get our first check until mid September. I am ashamed to ask for help when there is so much going on the world. I know everyone is suffering. Any help greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart Thank You!
