Hi, my name is Jazlynn Salgado! I am a college undergraduate student at Fresno State and I am studying music! I am a first generation student and have been blessed with many opportunities to further my education.

However, as the first person in my family to attend a university, expenses are beyond my financial means. Within my family, higher education as not an option, so I have always dreamt of being the first to attend college and I have worked hard to achieve my spots in the program.

I have been given the incredible honor of performing at Carnegie Hall in New York, with our amazing Wind Orchestra. However, this trip comes with significant costs, including travel and food costs, which I cannot afford alone.

In addition to this, next semester will be my final semester of college, and tuition costs continue to be a major financial challenge. Your support will not only help me take part in this prestigious performance but also ease the burden of my last semester, allowing me to focus on my education and graduate strong.
