Hi everyone,

As some of you may already be aware our close family and friends Siobhan, Marcus & Lenny has recently been given some devastating news that no family should hear. Their beautiful daughter Janey who will only be 2 years old on the 7th December has been diagnosed with a cancerous tumour. It all started 6 weeks ago when Janey became unwell with what was believed to be a bad case of flu/ chest infection to which she was given the normal medication of antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. 4 trips later and 2 lots of said medication poor Janey was getting no better which therefore ended in Janey waking up on the 23rd November struggling to breathe and was blue lighted to Derby royal hospital where normal treatments wouldn’t work so they decided to give Janey an x-ray and discovered a complete white out in one of her lungs (white shadow completely covering the lung) so the next step was to let the parents know and perform a ct scan which discovered the absolutely heartbreaking news of a cancerous tumour that was already aggressive and massive. The next steps will be treatments/surgery which will be a very long process for Janey, her parents and Lenny. Siobhan and Marcus will need to take time out of work to be with Janey throughout her stay in hospital and to support Lenny with all the changes that have come with that. We want to help out in any way we can during the hardest time of their lives.
