HI my name is Amy. My twin brother Jamie recently had an emergency surgery at Rochester General Hospital. Jamie had a leak in his abdomen, they found a hole in his colon and repaired it. Currently Jamie has been in the hospital since June 29th. Unfortunately Jamie did not have medical insurance when this began. The hospital has been able to enroll Jamie for insurance but it will not be active until August 1st. Due to Jamie's situation and condition he will not be able to work for an unknown time. Jamie will have medical expenses from during his stay at Rochester and up until his insurance is active. Jamie will also need to maintain his current bills/utilities.
