Hello, I am Rebecca, the sister to James Bible. I am here requesting support for my brother, sister-in-law, nieces and nephews.

James has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and is currently fighting an infection that they have not isolated yet. After a long couple of days in back pain and exhaustion, James went to Cleveland Clinic ER and was subsequently transferred to Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. They found infection and masses in the spine, ribs and lungs. They biopsied the lumbar spine and later gave radiation on a large tumor in the spine to emergently halt tumor growth while it was further evaluated. He's going through daily tests, bloodwork, ultrasounds and more. His mobility is affected and his hospital stay is - at this point - uncertain. Our sister Carey has been staying nightly with him to help oversee and organize all of the input from the many medical teams he has and help advocate for him in the hospital- for which the family is so grateful.

After they treat and hopefully resolve the infection, they will start James on chemotherapy, steroids and various daily prescription cocktails. Multiple Myeloma is an incurable type of bone cancer that requires indefinite treatments and care.

James is a father to six beautiful, bright and wonderful children- 5 of which are still at home, and husband to a loving wife Kim. It is a one-income home and Kim has physical/immune system limitations as well.

We appreciate you considering any support in a very unexpected and uncertain time. Please keep the Bible family in your thoughts and prayers. Any funds will be used to stay on top of daily needs, bills including rent/food/etc, pay medical bills (he has a very high deductible), modify access points in the house for when he stabilizes, ease the stress of the household and provide support for James, Kim, and my nieces and nephews.
