- If someone says Saba and you don't smile, you're a Daryl. The smile might be the grin of legendary shenanigans or the wistful smile of a kindness shown, but Saba's joy in life made us all smile in his presence. A tragic random illness took the life of this lifemate, daddy, son, brother, cousin, and unrelenting friend from all of us on October 15 and he will never be forgotten. I beseech you to help us assist Caitlyn and Jakobe through this time of sudden upheaval. Saba's great strength and love helped so many of us during a previous period of great sorrow and now we need to be strong for his family. Show love and give 'til it feels good and help reach our goal. There will be a celebration of Saba's life at Shoreline Park in his beloved Santa Barbara on November 6 with the time of day still pending. We will update that time once it is confirmed and hope to share hugs and stories with you there.
