Help support Jake's smile and dental care

Hello to all,

My sister, Sarah, and I are reaching out on behalf of our brother, Jake. For all of you who know Jake (and for those who don't) here is a brief history. Jake is an absolute one of a kind individual. He is a no frills (tell it like it is) guy combined with the most sincere and beautiful heart. Jake was born with both physical and intellectual disabilities.  His primary health challenges have stemmed from his Legg Perthes diagnosis. This has meant that the left side of his body is significantly shorter and smaller than his right. As you can imagine, foot, knee and hip problems have caused him pain his whole life. He also had a cornea transplant years back which, unfortunately, didn't take, leaving him blind in his left eye. This is not meant to be a sob story, we just want to give some historical background. Even with all of these challenges, Jake has been a real trooper. 

Fast forward, Jake is now in need of some pretty extensive dental work (numerous extractions, bridge work, etc).  He has medicaid but the suggested bridge work will not be covered. 

Our family wants Jake to be as healthy and happy as possible. We want him to have teeth that he can use to enjoy his favorite foods (like his weekly granola from the kingston farmer's market )! 

We are starting this go fund me in an effort to make this possible for him. There are so many people in our community who know and love Jake. We are asking for your help.
