Hi family and friends,
On May 28th, our son Jacob had emergency surgery for a severe and life-threatening case of appendicitis. What started as abdominal pain quickly turned serious—his appendix had ruptured, and he was going septic. The surgical team had to perform an open laparotomy, not a simple laparoscopic procedure. They had to fully open his abdomen and do an intestinal washout to clear the infection.
This wasn’t a routine surgery. Jacob is now facing a long road to recovery—a minimum of six weeks, possibly longer. He’ll need time, rest, and support to fully heal.
Adding to the urgency, Jacob’s girlfriend, Eternity, is eight months pregnant. Their baby boy, Jakobi, could be born any day now. While they should be getting ready to welcome their son, they’re instead facing this medical emergency, hospital stays, and financial strain.
Jacob won’t be able to work during his recovery, and Eternity will soon need to take time off for the baby. We’re asking for any support you feel led to give—whether that’s through a financial contribution, sharing this page, or covering them in prayer.
Your generosity will help relieve some of the pressure and allow Jacob to focus on healing and being ready—physically and emotionally—for the arrival of his first child.
Thank you for standing with our family during this time. It means more than words can say.
With love and gratitude,
