In Loving Memory of Julianna Lynn Kirk
On Tuesday, July 15th at 12:49 pm, Jacob and Savannah Kirk met their beautiful daughter, Julianna Lynn, for the first and last time.
She was perfect in every way—a full head of curly auburn hair, long fingers and toes, and the peaceful, beautiful face of an angel. Though her spirit had already returned to heaven, her presence filled the room with love. Julianna was deeply loved, longed for, and will be forever remembered.
Jacob and Savannah had hoped and prepared for a peaceful, natural birth, choosing a midwife center that reflected their values and hopes for welcoming their baby girl. This path required them to pay $7,000 out-of-pocket, as the center did not accept insurance. But complications arose, and in the final moments, they had to rush to the hospital—facing the unimaginable grief of learning their baby no longer had a heartbeat.
In addition to their heartbreak, they are now burdened with medical expenses from both the midwife center and hospital. The emergency hospital care was covered after having to pay an additional $5,000 to meet their deductible—the original midwife fees and multiple ultrasounds were unfortunately not covered.
Now, they must also lay their sweet Julianna to rest, navigating the costs of a funeral and burial while trying to process their devastating loss.
No one should have to think about bills when they’re grieving the loss of their child. We are hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover:
• $7,000 in midwife care
• $5,000 in hospital expenses
• Several hundred dollars in out-of-pocket ultrasounds
• Funeral and burial costs for sweet Julianna Lynn
If you feel moved to donate, we are deeply grateful. If you can’t give financially, your prayers, thoughts, and shares mean the world to us.
Julianna Lynn Kirk was Jacob and Savannah’s first child. She was only here for a moment, but she changed everything. Her parents will forever carry her in their hearts, and your love and support help carry them through this time of sorrow.
Funeral services for close friends and family will be held on Monday, July 21st at 11 am at the Hawker Funeral Home in Blackfoot.
Thank you for walking with Jacob and Savannah through this sacred and heartbreaking chapter.
