Hey guys!

 

My name is Terence and I’m helping raise funds for Jacky and his family.

 

During the last lockdown in Melbourne one of our good friends Jacky Troung was diagnosed with stage four metastatic testicular cancer. It has also spread to his brain, lungs and abdomen and is now being treated by chemotherapy.

 

Jacky also has to inject blood thinners twice a day to help deal with the blood clots which are all over his body. And because of this, it had caused bleeding in his right kidney which has been operated on and is now ablated. Which means they cut off the blood supply to it and is slowly dying inside of his body. He also had an obstruction in his left kidney, so they had to put a stent in to unblock it. It doesn’t end.

 

Just recently he had neurosurgery to stop bleeding in his brain and to cut some of the cancer out. The Chemotherapy isn’t shrinking much of the cancer in his brain, so now he is undergoing radiation treatment.

 

Jacky is my brothers best friend.

He has been part of our family for over 10 years. We’ve spent a lot of special occasions together. He is 27, happy, independent, funny and a successful personal trainer with dreams one day to open his own gym.

 

Because he needs support he had to move out of his home and move in with his sister who recently had her first baby.

 

So I’m here, telling you this story to ask for some help. I want to raise money to help support Jacky and his family during these tough times. Not only is this a long journey, but one he’s had to go through alone. Due to these lockdowns and restrictions, it’s been tough for friends and family to see him. Hospitals are super cautious about what’s happening, they don’t allow visitors. And the only people who are allowed to visit him at home are professional carers. His sister is doing the best she can to take care of him and her baby but you can imagine how tough it would be.

 

So I’ve created a GOFUNDME to help Jacky with whatever means necessary.

To get him to see the best specialists, treatment, surgery, to purchase organic foods, taxis to hospitals, for professional care at home, to support him while he can’t work, bills, whatever it is to make his living situation a little easier.

 

I will be contributing part of my next update to Jacky
