We are reaching out with heavy hearts to ask for prayers and support for Jackie, who is currently fighting for her life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Jackie’s medical emergency began in the 7th month of her pregnancy when she experienced persistent dizziness and extreme fatigue. After seeking medical care at Mulago Hospital in Kampala Uganda on November 27th, doctors discovered that her blood pressure was dangerously high. She was immediately admitted due to the serious risks posed to both her and her unborn baby.
Despite weeks of close monitoring, medication, and repeated tests, her blood pressure remained unstable. Doctors worked tirelessly to stabilize both mother and baby in hopes of safely reaching the delivery date and avoiding a risky emergency procedure.
Tragically, on the night of December 16th, Jackie’s condition worsened, and her baby’s heartbeat could no longer be detected. Due to her fragile state, surgery was not possible, and doctors were forced to induce labor. We are heartbroken by the loss of the baby.
Following this, Jackie suffered multiple organ damage, affecting her kidneys, liver, lungs, and heart. She was admitted to the ICU on December 17th, where she remains to this day.
Jackie is currently undergoing dialysis as doctors assess whether her kidneys can recover. Her lungs were also severely affected, and a procedure is being done to drain excess fluid to help her breathe. She remains under constant medical supervision by a team of specialists.
The medical bills have grown far beyond what the family can manage alone. We are humbly asking for your support whether through donations, prayers, or sharing this campaign to help cover ICU care, dialysis, medications, and ongoing treatment.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and bring hope during this incredibly difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers. May God bless you.
