Help Support Jacey George's Fight and Recovery
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Mallory and I am Jacey's cousin. Jacey suffered a fall from a 5 story balcony and has a very very long road to recovery. I am hoping to help out my family who will have countless medical bills moving forward.
Here is a message from Jacey's family:
Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Supporters
Our precious 26-year-old daughter Jacey, who lights up every room she walks in, suffered a devastating and life-threatening incident on August 25th - 2024 in Las Vegas, falling from a 4th floor balcony in a freak accident. She was rushed to UMC Trauma center in Las Vegas fighting for her very life.
She suffered multiple fractures to her ribs, femur, knee, ankle, a crushed pelvis, and broken vertebrae in her spine. Internal injuries including a lacerated liver and kidney and injuries to her diaphragm. By God’s grace and a miracle, there was no head trauma and she is not paralyzed.
She has survived a 5-hour surgery to repair the bone fractures, and other surgeries will be necessary. We are blessed beyond imagination and all indications are she will have a second chance at life. The road to recovery will be a slow and an agonizing process for her, and also her support system which runs deep and is full of love.
Jacey’s nurses have been angels and refer to her as Miracle Girl, caring for her with tenderness, to keep her spirits high and heal her both physically and mentally. Her doctors and surgeons have been nothing short of amazing and their god given talents have saved her life. As she fights to heal, the best-case scenario is a long road to recovery, with many Challenges and Unknown hurdles along the way.
Those who know Jacey, know her to be a vibrant, outgoing, bubbly personality, with a kind heart and gentle touch, who goes out of her way to make everyone happy. These qualities will help her in her struggle.
APRIL 1 -2025 UPDATE - Jacey has survived countless setbacks and has also celebrated milestones and is continuing on the road to recovery with the help of family and friends and medical staff's here in Kansas City. She is now walking again, and shares both optimism and a bright outlook for the future. The process is slow and painful at times and there are various Physical Therapy sessions along with other medical appointments to keep Jacey busy. Although the worst of the storm is over, there are still many obstacles in the path to 100% recovery and Jacey works hard daily to set goals and smash them. She and her family cannot express enough how much your continued support and prayers mean.
What Your Donation means:
Medical Expenses: Covering the costs of Jacey’s ongoing treatments, surgeries, and any future medical needs, which will be a constant and an unknown in the coming months. There are still many medical issues that are fluid.
Recovery Needs: Funding for any specialized equipment, extensive physical therapy to learn to walk again, and other resources Jacey may need on her difficult road to recovery.
