A Mother’s Love for Isaiah Dorsey – Our Angel on Earth
Our hearts are heavy as we share the story of our beautiful son, Isaiah Dorsey, a joyful 13-year-old whose smile has the power to light up an entire room. Isaiah was born with Bardet-Biedl Syndrome, Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), and Down Syndrome. Though life has given him challenges, he has met each one with the purest heart, an unbreakable spirit, and a smile that could heal the soul.
Isaiah is nonverbal, yet his laughter, his energy, and his love speak louder than any words ever could. Through sign language, his phone, and his gentle eyes, he found ways to communicate everything that mattered — joy, humor, curiosity, and kindness. He loved to dance, to play with other children, and to make everyone around him laugh. Isaiah’s spirit was, and will always be, a reminder that love doesn’t need words to be understood.
Now, Isaiah is under hospice care, and we are preparing for the hardest moment any parent could ever face — the day our precious boy will be called home to the Lord. As we sit beside him, holding his hand and whispering prayers, we hold onto every smile, every breath, and every heartbeat as a gift.
Our family is humbly asking for help during this heartbreaking time. Your support will assist with the overwhelming costs that come with end-of-life care and arrangements. More than anything, we ask for your prayers — for strength, for peace, and for God’s loving arms to carry Isaiah gently home.
Isaiah has been our miracle, our sunshine, our teacher, and our joy. Though his time on earth may be short, the love he has given will last forever. Every donation, every prayer, every kind word — it all means more than we can ever express.
From our hearts to yours, thank you for helping us honor the life and light of our sweet Isaiah.
