Help support Ian during this struggling time

The holiday season was not so joyous for Ian and his family. On December 7th, his daughter Maddie was diagnosed with Celiac disease. That very same day, Ian went to the ER for severe stomach pain. Three days later he was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer. He spent 40 days in the hospital (most of it alone, due to covid restrictions) where he endured 3 surgeries including a colectomy to remove the large mass of cancerous cells and an ileostomy bag was put in place. Complications ccurred with all 3 surgeries, prolonging the start of chemo.

Ian is larger than life, socially often described as the life of the party and professionally he has been coined the “beast” known for his strength and stamina. He has always physically worked with his hands and has been a hard working carpenter all his life.

He recently found out that the cancer has spread to the liver, elevating Ian’s status to stage 4. He has many rounds of chemotherapy and at least 3 more procedures to endure that will keep him home for the remainder of the year.

The love and admiration Ian has for his girls, Emily and Madeline, give him the strength he needs to battle this horrible disease. He is fortunate to have the love and support of Lisa by his side. Ian needs our help. With zero income, he will not be able to support his family or keep up with monthly expenses, let alone, cover out of pocket medical costs. This disease has been crippling. Please consider helping them during this most difficult time.
