I never thought I would be in a position to ask for help like this, but for Hunnie, I will do anything. Hunnie is 15 years old and truly the love of my life. She has been by my side through everything—my ride or die, my constant, my heart. Anyone who has met her knows just how special she is. She’s not just my dog—she’s a light in this community, a gentle, loving soul who brings joy to everyone she meets.
Recently, Hunnie was diagnosed with kidney disease. While this is something many dogs can manage for some time, her condition has been declining very quickly. Despite everything, she still has moments where she’s happy, present, and full of love—and those moments mean everything to me. But she’s no longer eating, and each day feels uncertain. I have already spent a significant amount on her care and have taken time off work to be with her—and I will continue to do so. Right now, being with her matters more than anything. But I’ve exhausted my savings, and I’m now facing the reality of not knowing how I’ll cover basic expenses like rent.
