Hi! My name is Holly Peck and I'm a Life Scout with Troop 261 from St. Petersburg, Florida. I am currently working towards the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest achievement in Scouting, which requires demonstrating leadership through a meaningful community service project. For my Eagle Scout project I am going to be painting a basketball court at Morning Star School. Having an actual basketball court will help the Morning Star athletes practice, work on skills, strengthen the athletes as a team and will help them when Morning Star competes in the Special Olympics. To make this happen, I'm seeking financial donations. The amount I need is $500. Any contribution-no matter the size-will go directly toward the purchase of supplies and materials needed to complete the project.
