Hi, my name is Stephanie and this is my best friend, and my soul dog Hodor. Please help us with the cost of Hodor’s medical expenses and any possible further treatment.

On Wednesday night, July 2nd, my husband and I rushed Hodor to the vet. We knew something was wrong; he was acting lethargic, dull, and didn’t want to eat. We were hoping he just had an upset stomach, but we were so wrong. We ended up finding out through an ultrasound that not only did he have a tumor on his heart, but large amounts of fluid/blood around his heart and in his abdomen. We were told that the most likely reason is a highly aggressive form of cancer called hemangiosarcoma. We decided to have the fluid removed to buy us more time with him. However, with us struggling financially right now, we really took a hit.

He seems to be doing better than he was, but we can tell he’s tired. We don’t know how much longer he has; it may only be a few days or a few weeks. Please pray for Hodor and our family during this incredibly difficult time. He’s been with me for 8 years, through the worst times of my life and the most amazing times. The pain I’m feeling with the thought of losing him is immeasurable.
