Update on Herbert’s Condition

We want to take a moment to thank everyone for your continued prayers, support, and generosity during this incredibly difficult time.

Herbert remains in critical condition. Doctors have informed us that he is approximately 98% brain dead, and medically, the outlook is extremely serious. This has been devastating news for our family.

However, despite what we’ve been told, we are still witnessing signs that give us hope. Herbert is showing small but meaningful responses he blinks, coughs, and at times reacts to touch and voices around him. These moments, though subtle, remind us that he is still fighting.

We are holding onto faith and believing that Herbert is doing everything he can to return to his wife Tecla and children Mercy, Trust and Faith who are waiting for him back home. We continue to stay by his side, speaking to him, encouraging him, and surrounding him with love.

This journey is far from easy, but your support keeps us going. Please continue to keep Herbert in your prayers.
