Please Help Support Helen Ramsay’s Fight Against Breast Cancer
As Helen’s mom, I’ve had the privilege of watching my daughter live her life with grace, courage, and an unwavering spirit. It breaks my heart to share that she is now facing her second battle with breast cancer.
Seven years ago, Helen fought this same fight with incredible strength. What started as a small lump led to a lumpectomy, and then to the painful discovery that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. She went through months of chemotherapy and radiation — and by God’s grace, she came out victorious.
For seven beautiful, healthy years, she poured herself into her family, her students, and her community. But recently, another lump was found. This time, the journey has been even harder. Helen underwent a double mastectomy and is now enduring another round of chemotherapy. Radiation is no longer an option because she’s already received the maximum amount allowed.
Helen has always been the kind of person who gives her all — especially as a dedicated school teacher. Thanks to her incredible coworkers and friends, she has enough sick time to cover her salary while she focuses on recovery. However, she can no longer work the extra jobs that helped her stay on top of everyday expenses. With new medical deductibles and added costs, keeping up with bills has become a real struggle.
As her mother, it’s difficult to see her face this hardship again. That’s why I’m asking, from the bottom of my heart, that you consider helping Helen in any way you can. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your generosity and prayers will help lighten her financial burden and remind her that she’s not fighting this battle alone.
Thank you for your kindness, love, and support. Together, I believe we can help Helen find the strength and hope she needs to overcome this once again.
With love,
Judy Hopper
