Libby is my cousin and the mother of Meagan and April Benson. Libby is one of the most caring and selfless people I know. She is never the one to ask

for help but is always the first one to offer help to anyone when it is needed no matter the circumstance. She is one of the most generous women I have ever known. She loves everyone unconditionally. In July of 2024 Libby was rushed to the emergency room because she was very ill. In September of 2024 she was diagnosed with stage 3 Endometrial Cancer. She had a total hysterectomy in November of 2024. Since then she immediately began chemotherapy and radiation, her copays alone are $300 per week. Libby’s medical expenses have exceeded $20,000 (copays) since July of 2024. At the time she became ill, she was on disability at 60% from her job where she worked in banking. She has worked in banking all of her life for over 35 years and soon her disability may run out, and she has already been struggling with the lower pay of 60% of her total pay. Her medical expenses, and every day expenses, for medication’s are mounting up to an astronomical expense. Her medical bills now alone are over $20,000 just for surgery and CT scans and there are more scans, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments to be done. With the possibility of her disability insurance coming to an end, her source of income may be completely depleted.
