Help Support Heidi on Her Healing & Recovery

Hello, I'm Nyx. I am a close friend of Heidi’s and organizing this Go Fund Me. Heidi is a highly private person, and despite her apprehension in doing this, I have faith that our community will step in to help support her when she needs it most.

Over the past 4 years, Heidi began to develop an array of health issues. She has gone through the gamut of traditional medical treatments, doctors and specialists. Because of the limited treatment options she has been given, she has often had to go outside of her insurance to get tests and diagnostic treatments. Navigating this on her own, as her symptoms have intensified, along with the pandemic and events in her own life, have left her entirely exhausted emotionally, physically and financially.

Currently, Heidi is navigating autoimmune and digestive issues, bone degeneration, and tendonitis, along with 3 tumors found in her imaging. The tumors are likely benign, but because of their location and size, they are causing an enormous amount of pain and dysfunction. The only option she has been given to address is an invasive surgery before their growth starts to affect her mobility. The operation comes with a 3-month recovery and involves permanently removing pieces of bone that could (also) affect her mobility and lead to other issues.

The only alternative to surgery she has found is an intense homeopathic treatment program that has worked for some people to address tumor growth, auto-immune disorders, and chronic inflammatory issues. This program is a month-long, and she is using the last of her funds to start this treatment as it seems to be the only other option. This regimented program does not allow for anything besides following the program, and Heidi would love to be able to focus entirely on healing during this time. She has surgery scheduled for late October as a backup but hopes this program will address some, if not all, of her ailments as she believes many are connected.

This fundraiser will help her cover her living and medical expenses from now leading up to her operation and recovery. If the homeopathic treatment is successful and surgery is not necessary, we will end the fundraiser early otherwise, we will continue on until Heidi is fully recovered post-op.
