Hi, my name is McKayla, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for my sister-in-law, Heather, her partner JR, and their three boys (8, 2, and 1). They’ve recently been hit with some tough back to back challenges and could use a little extra support while they get back on their feet.

JR has been out of work for several months after a serious shoulder injury left him unable to continue his lawn care work. He’s currently going through the process of seeing specialists and planning for surgery.

To make matters worse, Heather suffered a severe ankle AND foot break just last night, which means she’ll be unable to work her job as a waitress and bartender for a minimum of 8-12 weeks. We are hoping she can see a specialist quickly to determine the next course of action and gameplay in her recovery.

With both parents sidelined from work and three young kids to care for, they’re facing some temporary financial strain. We’re hoping to raise funds to help cover household expenses, groceries, and bills while Heather and JR focus on healing and taking care of their family.
