Dear Friends and Community,

I am reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Sadly, Gwyn Barrodale passed away on October 9th. Gwyn was a friend to many over his life and squeezed so much out of the years he had, whether it was on stage playing bass guitar, skiing, diving or hanging out with his family and friends on hot summer nights while making everyone around him smile and laugh. The loss of his infectious smile and irrepressible sense of humor will forever leave a hole in the hearts of his family and friends.

This tragedy has left many of us heartbroken, and has left his wife Karrie facing a very uncertain future. With Gwyn’s employment being the sole source of family income, Karrie is now faced with unexpected costs, and very limited options to manage her rent, bills, groceries, etc. all at the same time she is grieving the loss of the love of her life.

Please help with this GoFundMe appeal. Any contribution, no matter how small, will mean the world to Karrie and will help honor Gwyn’s memory. Your support can make a profound difference for this loving family, allowing them to focus on healing and supporting one another in their time of need. We all know that if one of us was in a similar circumstance that Gwyn would be first in line to offer up whatever support he could and to make sure his friends and their families were looked after. Donations received will go directly to Gwyn’s son, Mike Barrodale so he can help his mom, Karrie, manage and cover unexpected expenses, and give Karrie one less thing to worry about and allow her to grieve and focus on her own healing.
