Our sweet princess Gucci has always been such a loving and resilient companion. Last month, she suddenly started limping, and after X-rays, we were told it might be an old bone injury from when she was a kitten. Sadly, just a few weeks later, we received devastating news — Gucci has osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer. In only one month, it has already spread to both of her front legs.

Because of how quickly the cancer is progressing, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to focus on comfort care so she can spend the rest of her time surrounded by love and without pain. She will be on steroids to help keep her comfortable, but the cost of all her tests, medications, and ongoing care has become a financial challenge.
