My sister and her daughters are going through an incredibly difficult and unexpected chapter in their lives.

In what felt like an instant, my sister’s life changed completely. One day she was a devoted wife and mother raising her daughters in what she believed was a stable home, and the next she found herself starting over with nothing — no home, no security, and no time to prepare. No help from her spouse. The emotional and financial weight of going from stability to uncertainty has been overwhelming, especially while trying to stay strong for her children. She is now working tirelessly to rebuild a safe and steady life for her girls while navigating legal challenges, securing childcare, and covering everyday essentials. On top of divorce fees, she is also navigating the legal process in being the sole custodian and provider for her children.
