In April of 2023, my sister Gloria was diagnosed with triple negative invasive ductal carcinoma, a very aggressive form of breast cancer. Since then she has undergone 17 rounds of chemotherapy and will undergo immunotherapy every 3 weeks for the next year. She has been unable to work at all during this time and now her unemployment has expired. Gloria is a very proud woman and would not ask for help on her own, so her family is stepping in to ask for help on her behalf. Although her chemotherapy is finished, her journey does not end there as she is facing surgery in the near future. She continues to fight this battle with dignity and grace however, she needs our support .
