Help Support Gianna’s Recovery After a Traumatic Injury:
Donation protected
On May 4, 2025, while visiting her best friend for her birthday, Gianna was involved in a devastating accident which resulted in a traumatic and life-changing injury.
Gianna’s hand was 75 percent severed, and she was airlifted to a trauma hospital in Georgia. Once she reached the hospital, they discovered that the bones in her wrist were missing, as well as muscle, tendons, and significant nerve damage.
At just 19, Gianna was faced with making the choice to save her hand or amputate.
Gianna chose to save her hand and is currently in the I.C.U. She has undergone emergency surgeries in hopes of improving blood flow and keeping the hand “alive.”
She has already undergone 3 surgeries and is scheduled for an upcoming “groin flap” procedure to aid blood vessel supply and aid in reconstruction.
She does not have insurance and will not be able to work for the foreseeable future.
This fundraiser is created to help with the financial hardships of:
* Multiple upcoming surgical procedures and long-term hospitalization and care.
* Skin grafts and reconstructive procedures.
* Ongoing physical therapy & occupational therapy.
Any contribution will help ease the financial burden and allow Gianna to concentrate on moving forward with healing and recovery. No amount is “too small.”
If you are unable to donate, please share Gianna’s story.
Gianna is grateful for everyone’s love and support in this extremely emotional and difficult time. Through it all, Gianna has maintained hope, a positive attitude, and her beautiful smile.
Thank you all!
