Gail Spear is a cheerful, hardworking, intensely loyal, and kind person. For the past 5 years, Gail has been a dedicated Woodriver Elementary School staff member. She has brought joy to many students, families, and staff members. Unfortunately, this March, Gail was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is currently undergoing her second of three chemotherapy treatments. Following chemo, she will have radiation and then surgery in hopes the cancer goes into remission.

Despite struggling through chemo these last two months, Gail strives to be at school whenever possible because of her genuine love for her kindergarten students and her coworkers. She remains optimistic and would never ask for a handout, but the weight of being the sole provider is increasingly heavy. The “Woodriver Family” is the only family Gail has in town. We want to help ease her financial burdens by fundraising for Gail’s upcoming medical and everyday expenses. Thank you for being part of Gail's path to recovery.

In honor of Gail's upbeat and positive outlook on life, we plan to have a little fun with this fundraiser. Incentives include:

**If we raise $1500 all students, who attend the End of the Year Picnic, will get to throw a water balloon at Mr. Guy!

***If we raise $2500 Mr. Guy will let Ms. Gail shave his head at the End of the Year Picnic!!
