Help support Frasers fight against cancerous brain tumour

Donation protected
We are raising funds to support my brother Fraser, his wife Leigh, and their two beautiful young boys, aged 5 and 9, as they face an unimaginable journey.

My name is Max. Fraser is my brother, and Leigh is my sister-in-law. This page was lovingly set up by Leigh’s sister Tash , with the full consent of Fraser and Leigh because no young family should have to face something like this alone.

Until recently, Fraser and Leigh were focused on rebuilding normal family life after Leigh courageously completed treatment for bowel cancer last year. They believed the hardest chapter was behind them. Tragically that was not the case last month Fraser was admitted to hospital after suffering severe headaches and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. He underwent surgery within weeks. Fraser had also been experiencing seizures for the past 18 months - the first occurring the day after our fathers funeral in June last year.

Within the last week Fraser and Leigh were told the devastating news that a secondary brain tumour has been found located in a central area of the brain that makes it inoperable. He is about to start an intensive treatment plan of chemotherapy and radio therapy but they have been advised that the tumour is incurable and this will only be to prolong Frasers life. We are just trying to get other options if we can find other treatments suitable for his diagnosis.

Right now , they are trying to process this life altering news while shielding their children from the full reality, doing everything they can to preserve a sense of normality, love and safety for them.

Why we are asking for help
This page has been created for three very specific and deeply important reasons:

1. SEEKING FURTHER MEDICAL OPTIONS
We want to pursue a second opinion and explore whether any specialist neuro- oncology teams NHS or private may be able to offer:

. Further assessment
. Alternative treatment options
.Symptom - reducing interventions

This may involve consultations/ additional imaging/travel/ accommodation costs.

2. REDUCING IMMEDIATE FINANCIAL PRESSURE
Alongside the emotional devastation comes lost income, mounting expenses and relentless worry. Any support will go towards
. Mortgage payments
. Household bills
. Essential living costs
It would help ease the financial burden allowing Fraser and Leigh to focus on what truly matters - time together as a family.

3. PROTECTING THE BOYS FUTURE

Above all else, Frasers greatest concern is his children. If the worst should happen any funds raised would help

. Keep the boys in their family home
. Maintain stability around school and daily life
.Reduce the long term financial burden on Leigh.
Our hope is to give this family as much security, dignity, and peace of mind as possible during the most unimaginably difficult time of their lives.

HOW THE FUNDS WILL BE USED

All funds raised will go directly towards
. Medical second opinions and related costs
. Essential living expenses
. Long term stability and support for our nephews.

This page is not about lifestyle or luxury - it is about time, hope, dignity and protecting a young family.

Fraser, Leigh and their boys are deeply loved. They have already faced more than most, and they continue to meet each day with quiet strength, kindness and grace.

If you are unable to donate, share, or simply keep them in your thoughts it truly means more than we can put into words.

Thankyou for taking the time to read their story and for helping us stand beside them.
