Help Support Final Rituals for Dig Kadaraiya.

With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Dig Kadaraiya, a beloved mother, grandmother, and member of our community, on July 22, 2025, in Harrisburg, PA. Her loss has deeply affected her family and loved ones.

We are raising funds to support the final Hindu rituals being performed with love and devotion by her widowed daughter-in-law, Hema Kadaraiya, and her grandson, Pawan Kadaraiya. These important cultural and spiritual rites are currently being held at:

At this moment, there are no income earners in the household. Hema, who has already endured the loss of her husband, is now shouldering the emotional and financial responsibilities of ensuring Dig Kadaraiya’s final journey is completed with dignity and respect.

This fundraiser also provides an opportunity for relatives and friends who live far away and wish to offer their Mano-Chamal (मानो चामल) or make a traditional contribution in honor of Dig Kadaraiya’s memory.
