I am writing on Behalf of my son, Jesse Lavallee. Over the past 18 years, Jesse has unfortunately suffered from many medical issues resulting from having cancer and will be undergoing major surgery in the near future to have a hysterectomy. As a mother, it is devastating to see your child in such pain while knowing that you cannot take it away. Although I have tried to support him to the best of my abilities, I am unfortunately not in a financial position where I can give him all the support he needs and deserves. Jesse has worked tirelessly leading up to this surgery in order to save enough money to support his wife and three kids during his recovery from the procedure but it will not be enough to cover everything needed. Despite his efforts, current financial responsibilities has become too much to bear alone. Jesse is unfortunately the only one able to work in the household and is currently working two jobs but due to the fact that only one of his jobs is willing to give him sick leave, the task of saving enough is unfortunately just not realistic. Jesse has been working lots of overtime to bank hours to take leave but unfortunately this is just not enough to cover everything. Jesse’s recovery will play a key role in his future, and it will be unimaginably difficult for him both mentally and physically. He will need to take a leave of absence from work in order to properly recover, but is currently not comfortable enough financially to even consider undergoing this crucial operation. With all of this being said, Jesse and his family would be tremendously grateful for any and all support available. No matter the amount, the donations made on this page will go directly towards Jesse’s wellbeing and future while also taking a large burden off of his back as well as the family’s.
