As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Farncombe Wanderers are currently not able to play any cricket this season. As a small club run entirely by volunteers, player subscription fees and money made over the bar are our sources of income to keep the club running.
Without games this summer, there is no revenue coming in to the cricket club. This is not only a worry for the mens First XI we field every Saturday in the I'Anson League but, more importantly, a worry for the junior All Stars who are all desperate for their midweek cricket in the Summer, and our Girls and Ladies sections, the latter of which were all set for their first foray in to League cricket this year!
Our volunteers are doing their best to keep the club going in these difficult times, and some players have even put their hands in their pockets to pay subs even though there is no cricket!
We are a fantastic family cricket club and any donations will contribute towards ensuring we are able to continue once this is all over for players of all ages and abilities.
Please, help our club.
