In June of this year we found out our 1 year old son Ezekiel has stage IV liver cancer and cancerous tumors that have spread to his lungs. He's being treated at Randall's Children's Hospital in Portland and has weekly admissions for chemotherapy that we have to travel to from Dallas. We thought we would be receiving monthly financial assistance from the Candlelighters for Children with Cancer program but there was a miscommunication between us and the hospital social worker and we found out that they can help with $599 per year not per month and unfortunately we used the entire amount after 2 bills were paid.

His dad and I aren't working right now so that we both can be by Zeke's side during his hospital stays and at home. Some days we have to leave in a blink of an eye if Zeke spikes a fever or is feeling very ill all of a sudden. We are hoping people in our community can come together for Zeke by sharing this fundraiser, by making a donation, or both. We are hoping our community can help us get by as we journey through this huge unexpected change in our lives.
