A mother in Chicago needs urgent financial support for her family. Her sons, along with their respective partners, were detained by ICE in April of 2025. Two are still detained and one has already been deported to Venezuela. They are being held in different detention centers in Texas and she has not been given adequate information concerning their location or any updates on their cases.

The monetary assistance will be used to support her sons with getting food and essential necessities as well as maintaining contact with their extended family via calls. These funds are crucial to their livelihood. Currently, they only have enough money to make calls, resulting in them often going hungry. Coupled with this, no one is allowed access to any of their belongings. At this moment, the mother is unemployed and unable to support them as much as she would like. She has reached out for community financial support during this difficult time. In addition, any funds that are raised will go towards supporting them after final legal determinations to allow them to all get back on their feet.
