Help Support Everett and the Prettyman Family Through Cancer Treatment
Hi everyone,
Our family is navigating the unimaginable right now. Our 13-year-old nephew, Everett Prettyman, was recently diagnosed with cancer. He’s a bright, kind, and courageous young man who attends St. Thomas Academy.
Everett will be undergoing intensive treatment at Mayo Clinic and Children’s Minneapolis — a journey that will require months of care and time away from home. His mom, Anna, is stepping away from work to be fully present with Everett through every procedure, hospital stay, and each step of his healing. His dad, Jake, is holding down the fort at home while also working.
Meanwhile, their four other amazing children — Eloise (15), Owen (9), Graham (7), and Veira (4) — still need care, consistency, and stability in the midst of so much change.
We are raising $75,000 to help ease the financial burden on the Prettyman family. These funds will go directly toward:
Everett’s medical expenses and ongoing treatment at Mayo Clinic and Children’s
Childcare and household support for his siblings while Anna is away
Lost income while Anna and Jake take time away from work to care for Everett
Anna and Jake are the most devoted parents — loving, strong, and deeply grounded in their faith and family. They’ve always shown up for others, and now, we have the opportunity to show up for them.
Every single donation makes a direct and immediate impact. Please give what you can. Share this page. Say a prayer. Forward this to someone who can help. Whatever you can offer — big or small — means more than you know.
We ask that you pour your support primarily to their Go Fund Me page, if you would like all of your contribution to go to them (GFM takes a percentage) please Venmo Anna directly to .
If you would like to share a meal please visit their Meal Train and to follow his ongoing journey please visit their Caring Bridge .
With your help, we can surround Everett with the strength and stability he needs to heal, and give the Prettymans the space to focus on what matters most: being together.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
With love,
Katrina Horton & Janelle Hart (Anna’s sisters)
