Hi all. This is Erin Wallace Fairweather. You may know her. She is a dear to friend to many of us. She is a momma to baby Rose and married to the love of her life, Ryan. Erin is a talented photographer, skilled event planner and creative and kind person. Recently, she found out that cancer that she had a few years ago, has come back. She and Ryan are new parents. COVID has affected their life, jobs and even their benefits. They need our help. Erin is facing a fight that will take a lot of support, energy and love.
Please read her story below. Every little bit helps. Please share Erin's story, so we can help her get through this with a little less worry.

Help for Erin,
This go fund me page is to support Erin Elizabeth Wallace and her Family in her battle against cancer.
On March 11th, just two weeks after giving birth to her first-born child Rose, Erin was admitted into Foothills Emergency for testing assuming the presence of a pregnancy related infection. Instead, the tests revealed the devastating news that cancer had returned.
Erin was first diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma 7 years ago and underwent two years of treatment - chemotherapy and then a subsequent stem cell transplant. The transplant was an extremely challenging procedure but was successful, and Erin had been in full remission until this year. Erin’s health had returned to her so fully that last July she and her husband Ryan found out they were expecting a baby – something they had only dared to dream about. They were overjoyed as were all of their family and friends. Now as Erin and Ryan are welcoming their beautiful baby girl Rose into this world and learning the skills, challenges and joys of early parenthood, cancer has intervened in what should be some of the happiest days of their lives.
Erin has resumed treatment this past week which will continue for the better part of a year. Her strength and resilience will overcome this obstacle but, in the meantime, this new family needs our love and support. Previously when Erin was in treatment, she was covered by her critical illness insurance to help see them through the 2 years. Unfortunately, once you have been diagnosed a first time, you cannot qualify for insurance again so things will be much more financially challenging this time around. As a self-employed artist, Ryan has the flexibility to be both Erin’s and Rose’s primary caregiver. As Erin’s employment was terminated last March due to COVID and her EI benefits are due to run out in the near future, she will be without financial resources and Ryan’s income will be diminished. Additional medical expenses not covered by Alberta Health Care are added to the mix. Funds collected here will help support this family as they fight to overcome this disease.
Any amount will help and will be appreciated!
The family extends a huge thank you for the many well wishes they have received and the delicious meals they have been provided with since the arrival of Rose.
Thank you in advance for reading and sharing this story.
