Help support Erick Avendaño's funeral costs

Patricia Avendaño, an organizer and member of New York Communities for Change for over 10 years, tragically lost her son, Erick Enmanual Avendaño on Monday, January 16th, 2023.

In his 28 years, Erick was a much-loved son, brother, and community member who brought happiness and joy too so many while helping support his family.

Originally from El Salvador, one of his wishes was to be buried next to his father in his home country.

Costs for the funeral and to fly him back to El Salvador are pretty costly so please support Paty and her family with whatever you're able to do during this tough time.

For those who would like to pay tribute to Erick, the funeral and wake will be Friday and Saturday, January 27th and 28th from 4-7 pm at the R.G. Ortiz Funeral home
