Help Support Eric Robinson and Family

Hello Everyone!

My name is Abby as some of you know Eric and I have been together for the past 16 years. We have our son Logan who is 10 and my wonderful stepson Nolan who is 20 that make up our family.

Back in 2018 Eric was diagnosed with End Stage Liver Disease. Since then there has been alot of ups and downs as expected with a terminal illness.

In October of 2021 things started to take a turn for the worse with Eric's health which has resulted in lengthy hospital stays, piles of bills and a whole lot of stress for our family.

In November I unexpectedly had a GI bleed and spent 5 days in ICU had several surgeries to fix the issue. I almost didn't make it. I am the main caretaker and provider for our family. This really set me back as it took forever for me to heal. As soon as I made it home Eric was squaded back to the hospital the next day.

In December and Jan Eric was hospitalized for the 3rd time in a small amount of time and had internal bleeding which resulted in 3 weeks in ICU and a week inctubated. After that recovery it was decided to consult with Palliative Care to be advised how to proceed for Eric and the time he has left with us.

It's gut wrenching for me to type all this out for the world to read but I feel when asking for help being as transparent as possible is thr best.

Pallative care estimated that Eric probably has 6 months left with us, though no one has an actual expiration date and no one can predict the future we decided based on this to seek hospice care for Eric so what time he does have left can be spent with his children being as happy as possible.

Everyone knows our health care system and insurances are a joke. Eric has been on disability therefore has Medicare which has not been enough to cover all the bills or the placement in an actual assisted living hospice.

For now since the insurance won't cover it all Eric had to start home hospice. Which because of that puts me in the main caretaker role which has prevented me from working a normal job.

The bills keep piling up. Everyday new needs arise for equipment Eric needs or out of the pocket medicine costs - which are downright inhumane. A 30 day supply of the medicine That keeps his blood pressure up is $90 with insurance.. Thats just one medicine of about 20+ he needs. All these costs and just out regular bills for home are just mounting and mounting making a time when we should be trying to make good memories a very stressful and helpless time.

I know this is alot to read but I wanted everyone to understand the impossible hole I have been trying to claw our way out of.

Eric has been a special person in alot of our lives. Most of you know he would go out of his way to help most of you with anything you needed. He has played in local bands for 20 plus years he has met tons of awesome people in that process. He has played benefits for some of you and tried his hardest to help others out when they were in a bind. So hopefully some of you can help us now.

All donations will be used for a number of things the pile of bills, equipment, medications, household bills. We as a family can't thank those of you who help enough. We need this dark time for us to be a little easier a little brighter. I know we know some great people who maybe able to make that happen.
