Help Support Eric in the Fight for his Life
Donation protected
On Friday night, Sep. 13th, Eric LaRue was at the gym doing his normal routine when he started experiencing dizziness, chest pains, loss of vision, and loss of strength. After much convincing from Donna, his wife, Eric decided to drive to the closest Urgent Care to get checked up. After thorough analysis, they found Eric to be experiencing an "AORTA DISSECTION". This an extremely dire situation where the inner lining of your aorta begins to tear. This is so severe in fact, that 30% of patients do not live through it. After attempts to life flight Eric to the hospital failed due to the helicopter not being available at the time, they managed to rush him to the closest Cardiovascular unit that could handle an emergency open heart surgery in the middle of the night. Eric's case was so severe they gave him an ever more daunting outlook of a 30% chance of survival rate. Through God's blessing and a guardian angel, Eric was able to pull through and survive the night.
The battle is not over yet, however, and there will be weeks of rehabilitation and recovery ahead. With Eric's condition, he will no longer be able to be active in the gym and definitely never pursue his passion of bodybuilding anymore, it will be a complete lifestyle change. Any amount of intense, high blood pressure, or jolt to his body could cause a rupture of his aorta and the condition would be fatal. Eric is in for a battle physically, mentally, and as we all know with the cost of healthcare, financially. This is where I come to our community for help. With Eric being in a commission based career, if he's not working, he's not earning. With the ever growing hospital bills and deductibles adding up, Eric sure can use some help to take a little stress off his shoulders and let him just focus on getting healthy.
If any of you know Eric, you find out fairly quick that he is the type of guy that will give you the shirt off his back. Now it's time for us to help him. Any small gesture means the world, whether that's $5 or just a share to this post to help spread awareness. 100% of the proceeds go directly to him to help cover the massive medical bills that will be accrued in the coming days and weeks. I ask everyone, to come together to pitch in to help one of our own in this community.
From Eric and his family, thank you all so much for showing your support.
