Help support Emma while she heals her broken leg!

Our dear friend Emma broke her leg in an accident while gathering firewood at home. She slipped in the slush, and as she fell, both her tibia and fibula snapped completely in two. The incident was severe and required surgery to set the bones properly.

Emma has a long journey of recovery ahead of her. Such accidents are challenging to endure, and the added stress of losing financial stability can make it even more difficult. Gratefully, she has friends and family rallying to ease her through the early days after surgery with hearty meals and the deepest well of good company.

With a heart of gold, it's no secret Emma is a treasure to every person she touches. She lives a life of intention; tirelessly committed to the betterment of humanity; weaving joy and wisdom into her work with at-risk youth, supporting our LTBGQ+ community, bestowing kindness to hospice dogs in her foster care, and cheerleading us all through the ride of this thing called life.

It's never easy to ask for help. Often there is no option but to hold your head high and laugh through the absurdity of being dealt a hand of all wild cards. Pitching in with this fundraiser will allow Emma time to heal from this whirlwind and get her back on her feet.
