Support Emersyn's Journey to Recovery

Dear friends and family,

As many of you know, our sweet Emersyn has been diagnosed with epilepsy, and she is scheduled to undergo brain surgery to resect her right temporal lobe on November 7th at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus. We are hopeful that this surgery will stop or significantly reduce her seizure activity, allowing her to live a healthier, happier life.

However, as you can imagine, the road to recovery is filled with challenges. Medical bills from previous hospitalizations and extensive testing have already begun to pile up. During her recovery, Mom and Dad will need to be by her side in Columbus for an extended period, which means they will be unable to work. Once she returns home, mom will have to stay with her for an unknown amount of time depending on her recovery.

To help ease their burden, we are creating this GoFundMe to raise funds that will cover living expenses and medical costs while they focus on Emersyn’s healing. They are unaware we are doing this but we feel it needs to be done. You can only imagine the stress they are under at this time just thinking about the Surgery.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and help create one less worry for the family during this stressful time.
