Hello friends.

After nearly a year of patiently waiting while navigating our healthcare system, Em finally has a top surgery date of March 20! YAY!

Fortunately their insurance is covering surgery costs. As self employed queer hairstylists, we unfortunately don't get any kind of paid medical leave. Our upper body is vital to our craft, and healing time is 4-6 weeks. They will be unable to take clients during this time.

We recognize things are tough for many of us right now, given the recent fires and other harships. If you're able to donate even $1 to Em to cover costs of food and bills, we would greatly appreciate it! If you're not able to donate, we'd love it if you could share and repost.
