As Ellie's mother, I'm reaching out with a heart full of hope and gratitude. We're on a journey, one that none of us anticipated, as Ellie battles through dialysis and searches for a kidney donor. This fundraiser is our lifeline, a beacon of support amidst the storm of medical expenses and uncertainties. Despite our insurance, the financial burden weighs heavily, with deductibles soaring and crucial expenses left uncovered. Adding to our challenges, Ellie no longer has a job, further exacerbating our financial strain.

Ellie's journey began in January 2020, a whirlwind of hospitals, treatments, and diagnoses. Alongside the challenges of dialysis, she faces the added trials of lupus and endometriosis, each demanding its toll. Yet, through it all, she remains a warrior, a beacon of strength and resilience. Despite the odds, she pursued her passion for bodybuilding, inspiring others with her determination. Now, she aspires to channel her experiences into advocacy, a voice for those battling kidney disease, chronic illness, and mental health struggles.
But amidst her dreams of helping others lies another, more personal desire – to become a mother. It's a dream that feels out of reach in her current condition, yet one we refuse to let slip away. Together, let's rally around Ellie, let's make her dreams a reality. She deserves a life beyond the confines of a hospital room, where she can be more than just a patient – a daughter, a wife, a friend, a fur baby mama, and so much more.
