This $6k fundraising effort is a way for us (near & far) to extend our helping hand to the Wood family to cover their living expenses through the end of January. They're both unable to work and their medical debt is increasing with each tick of the clock.

|^| ELLEN & JEFF'S STORY |^|
This past October, Jeff & Ellen celebrated their 1 year anniversary in Bisbee, AZ - truly living their "happily ever after."
In 2020, they packed up their NE Ohio farm and set out to the beautiful weather and colors of the Southwest.
Along for the ride was a horse, 7 dogs, 2 cats, a tortoise, 2 turtles, 5 chickens, a duck and a goose. Luckily, neighbors have been pitching in to take care of them. Jeff is still too weak to manage.
In 2021, Ellen & Jeff starting hosting guests at an apartment/kennel on their property affectionately named, "Woof Run." It's a unique accommodation allowing pet-loving travelers to bring their furry friends (even horses!)
Ellen has also been a dog-breeder for more than half her life - and as Murphy's Law would have it, their Mini-Australian Shepherd, Lovie, just gave birth to 10 puppies. Thankfully, their daughter Erin made it in time to help Jeff with the birth and now constant care.
They have a long road ahead...
We are hopeful that this GoFundMe campaign will be a way to take some of the weight off of their shoulders.
Any donation is appreciated, or...wanna buy a puppy?!
We'll be posting photos soon on this website
