Help support Eliora's NICU stay

Donation protected
Dearest Friends,
On Friday,  November 13th my sister Dorcas Abernathy had to under-go an Emergency C-section at 25 wks pregnant.  Eliora was born via the Emergency C-section weighing 1 lb, 4oz, nearly 1 lbs under weight. She is in the NICU at Reading Hospital, currently in isolation due to Covid -19. Eliora is a fighter and Doctors are hopeful.  However there has been several discouraging updates. Immediately after birth Eliora was put on a breathing tube, but a couple days later was strong enough and breathing well so they moved her to Cpap. It was several days later that they had to replaced the breathing tube because she had too many events of forgetting to breath. Through this whole process they removed the feeding tube and have been unsuccessful in placing it back. Eliora is getting nutrients and fats through a pick line in her arm.
Dorcas is currently being refused visitation with Eliora due to Covid -19. Also because of testing positive for Covid-19 Nathan has been unable to work.
There will be months of driving and many gallons of gas needed, as well as food expenses at the hospital once they are allowed to visit. They are also in need of a second vehicle once Nathan is able to return to work.
Please be in prayer for the whole family and consider supporting Eliora's NICU expenses.  They do not know how much everything will be but they are anticipating a large number.

A note from Eliora's

It all started the beginning of November when I became very sick. I was having high fever and not getting better. After several days. I went to Urgent Care just to make sure that everything was okay. The doctor there encouraged me to go to the ER. At the ER they ran some tests and said that everything looked fine and sent me home. Later I was notified that I tested positive for Covid. I went home to rest. Later that week I became concerned that I hadn't being feeling our baby move much at all. So I went to a different ER. We were told that we were having a baby girl but that everything looked fine. I still wasn't feeling much movement and couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't quite right.
Friday afternoon I started to bleed and were advised to go the an ER that would have a NICU able to care for a 25 week old baby. They immediately discovered that she wasn't growing and was showing signs of distress. Soon after arrival I was rushed into emergency C-section. By far the scariest night of my life. I remember laying on the operating table begging the Lord to save our daughter. He did!
But the last week has been a blur of pain and shock. So many people have been praying for us and we are so grateful. Probably the biggest grief has been that we have yet to meet our daughter for more then a few seconds after her birth. Her name Eliora means 'God is my light. I know that the Lord has a special plan for her. Please continue to pray for all of this as we walk this long road.
