Hello everyone, my name is Elijah Sandoval-Dean, and I'm currently wrapping up my third year for my Computer Engineering bachelor's degree at Florida Polytechnic University. I'm passionate about finishing my education, being the first person within my family to go to college. Earlier this semester, I unexpectedly experienced a first time seizure that has rendered me ineligible to drive until September of 2026, as I need a 6 month period of being free from seizures to be able to drive again. Unfortunately, I've been depended on Ubers and Lyfts to be able to travel back and forth from home to school, and this has severely impacted my ability to continue paying rent and paying for transportation. I've been coordinating with the local transportation service, Citrus Connection, to fill out the proper paperwork to be able to receive more affordable transportation services, but the current available service that I was accepted for does not provide transportation to my school.

I've been working as a research assistant/teacher assistant with one of my professors so that I can alleviate some financial stress since the beginning of the year, which has provided me the opportunity to continue working for my professor over the course of the summer to continue our research (40 hours a week). However with the given circumstances, I've been struggling to properly make ends meet.

I would greatly appreciate any support that you could provide so that I can continue with my education, I'm on course to graduate next year, and it would mean the world to me if I can get this degree I've worked hard for. I plan on offering services within my local community such as building and maintaining a website for smaller companies to bring in more money
