Our dear friend and loved one, Elaine Gilliam, recently underwent major surgery to remove large masses in her abdominal region. She is currently at the Health Sciences Centre, under close medical supervision, as she begins the long and difficult road to recovery.

At this time, it’s uncertain how long Elaine will be away from home or what additional treatments and medical expenses may arise. What we do know is that she needs our help — both emotionally and financially — as she focuses on healing.

Anyone who knows Elaine knows her as a kind, caring, and strong woman who is always there when someone else needs a hand. Now, it’s our turn to be there for her.
