Many of you in our community may remember my dad, Earl Sizemore, as the beloved “Pizza Man” from Pizza-N-Motion. To us, he’s so much more—he’s the best Dad, an incredible Papaw, and the rock of our family. He’s spent his life taking care of others, and now it’s our turn to take care of him and my mom.

About four years ago, my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer. Since then, he’s bravely faced every challenge that’s come his way, including open heart surgery last July. Most recently, we received devastating news that the cancer has spread to his brain. While he underwent a procedure to help, he has experienced some serious setbacks and is now in a rehab facility working hard to regain his ability to walk and reclaim his independence.

Throughout all of this, my amazing mom has never left his side. She’s used all of her paid FMLA and, at this time, there’s no clear answer as to when she can return to work. As you can imagine, the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming.

We’re raising funds to help ease the financial burden on my parents so they can focus on what truly matters: my dad’s healing and well-being. Donations will go toward:

• Covering essential household bills

• Paying ongoing medical expenses

• Providing food and daily necessities while my mom is out of work

• Renovating my granny’s older home to make it accessible for my dad (including a new roof, updated flooring, and fresh paint)
